Jaime and Ollie are life long vegetarians and have worked in the catering industry for 20 years. Their long-standing family friend and co-worker Zar is the third team member, and they also call upon a large pool of friends and relatives to pitch in as casual staff when larger events require more help.
Jaime has a passion for cooking honest, clean food that satisfies and nourishes. Brought up in a vegetarian household, she and her family hold strong ethical values in relation to food and see vegetarianism as the way forward to a healthier, greener and more sustainable future. Jaime loves to see happy customers and takes great pride in welcoming, feeding and looking after the people who eat at Tansy’s Pantry.
Ollie is the reason Tansy’s Pantry exists in the first place. The combination of his craftsmanship and love of unconventional vehicles and living spaces have brought the business to life. From humble beginnings selling veggie breakfasts and coffee from his live-in truck, to joining forces with Jaime, Ollie has carved out a niche for Tansy’s Pantry which strengthens every year. Outside of festival season he wears his other hat as a carpenter, making and installing beautiful furniture from local wood.
Zar grew up in Spain and always led a very healthy lifestyle. On moving to the UK she met Ollie and Jaime and has been friends with them ever since. She always enjoyed Jaime’s wholesome food and loved the positive atmosphere of Tansy’s pantry. Zar has been in catering for around ten years and joined the team in early 2015. She says it’s one of the happiest, healthiest environments she has ever worked in and has never looked back.
